This is a dodecahedron (ten-sided) luminary made from sturdy, hand-painted watercolor paper folded and assembled with tender, loving care and precision. For a sturdier finish, I brushed the lantern with a couple layers of sealant mixed with fine glitter.

Insert a battery-powered LED tea light or puck light (not included), and this luminary casts an enchanting, starry glow in the room! You can display it with the top open or closed (with the opening at the bottom). Perfect for a child’s nightstand or wherever you’d like a peaceful, whimsical glow. Tip: Try a color-changing LED tea light for a mesmerizing effect or a puck light for the most brilliant colors.
