Autumnal Equinox Celebration

Autumnal Equinox Celebration

I’m facilitating a labyrinth walk/drum circle at the labyrinth at Hudson Crossing Park to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox. Registration is limited to 12 people. Please bring a drum or other kind of rhythm instrument. (If you don’t have a “real” instrument, an improvised one will do. Clapping, snapping, etc. are fine, too.)

The Autumnal Equinox not only marks the change in the seasons, but marks one of two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length; also, either of the two points in the sky where the ecliptic (the Sun’s annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect.

Join us at the HCP Labyrinth to mark the passing of another summer and celebrate the coming fall!

Please note that all state and CDC guidelines will be observed. Pre-registration, COVID-19 release forms, social distancing, and masks are required. Pre-register by e-mailing kmorse@hudsoncrossingpark.org . Limit 12 people.
