Mindfulness Meditation winter series (Online - Zoom)

This six-week series (January 10-February 14) through Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library will provide practical support for developing a daily meditation practice that's appropriate for you. Please register online for each session.

Mindfulness meditation is a refuge that provides grounding, clarity, and calm that is so vital for navigating challenging times. Each session will address a different topic relevant to mindfulness meditation. You will receive support for cultivating mindfulness skills both "on and off the cushion" and applying those skills to meeting life’s challenges, to respond wisely instead of reactively. You’ll learn strategies to awaken to mindfulness and compassion when you’re in the thick of difficulty and to dramatically shift the experience of your life, the people in it, and the world itself. Each class will include instruction, a guided practice exercise, and Q&A. This online program uses the Zoom live streaming platform.

Susan Meyer has been practicing mindfulness meditation for 30 years. She has received mindfulness meditation teacher certification and mindfulness mentoring certification with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She is passionate about guiding others to experience the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
